Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial

Amazon Prime is a fee-based membership program offered by the Amazon.com, Inc. company. The program fee is currently $99 a year or $10.99 a month, after a free 30-day trial. The main benefits to this program include free 2-day shipping for most purchases sold and/or shipped by Amazon, unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows with Prime Video, the ability to borrow books from the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library, and the ability to extend membership to one adult household member for free. The purpose of Amazon Prime, from a company perspective, is to attract the consumer to more heavily invest in the Amazon ecosystem as a whole.

 

Amazon Prime Student – FREE Two-Day Shipping for College Students

Amazon Prime Student is a fee-based membership program offered by the Amazon.com, Inc. company similar to the original Amazon Prime membership. This membership is offered to students actively enrolled in at least one course at a college located within the United States and Puerto Rico who have a valid school email with a .edu domain suffix. The program fee is currently $49 a year, after a free 6-month free trial. Benefits are identical to standard membership and also include student exclusive deals and discounts. Eligible students may maintain this membership for a maximum of 4 years or until graduation, whichever comes first. At the end of this period, membership will automatically renew as a full priced Amazon Prime membership.

 

Amazon Family 30-Day Free Trial

Amazon Family, formerly known as Amazon Mom, is a service that is available to Amazon Prime members. Through this program, they receive exclusive family-oriented offers, coupons, and age-based recommendations for their children. In addition, they are also entitled to 20% off diaper subscriptions and a 15% baby registry completion discount. Prime Student members would need to upgrade their account in order to use Amazon Family.

 

Amazon Music Unlimited 30-Day Free Trial

Amazon Music Unlimited is a premium music subscription service that is available to any Amazon member. The service features tens of millions of songs and thousands of expert-programmed playlists and stations, with the ability to listen to any song, anytime, anywhere, on almost any device, personalizing recommendations based on a customer’s listening habits. There are no ads and customers can download songs or playlists for offline listening. Prime members are able to join Amazon Music Unlimited for $7.99 a month or $79 for an annual subscription while non-Prime customers pay $9.99 a month.

 

Amazon Kindle Unlimited 30-Day Free Trial

Amazon Kindle Unlimited gives its customers access to more than one million books and thousands of audiobooks. You can read (or listen) on any device that allows you to download a Kindle Reading app, so a Kindle is not actually required for this. It’s currently only available to US customers through Amazon.com, while customers in other eligible countries can sign up in their local Amazon marketplace. Amazon intends to expand their service as time goes on. It’s available for $9.99 a month and you can cancel anytime.

Audible Inc. has been a subsidiary of Amazon since 2008. They are currently the world’s largest producer of downloadable audiobooks, and they also have available radio and TV programs and audio versions of magazines and newspapers. They are the United States’ largest audiobook producer and retailer. The first month’s subscription is free and it costs $14.95 a month after that. Customers also receive one monthly credit good for any audiobook and 30% off any purchase, as well as complimentary subscriptions to the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times.

No special sign-up or subscription is required to use Amazon Home Services and payments are handled through Amazon.

 

Amazon Wedding Registry

Amazon wedding registries can be created by any Amazon customer. In addition to adding Amazon items, the registry can be used universally, meaning customers are able to add items from anywhere else on the internet. Registries are also easy to personalize and share through email and social media. Wedding registries can also easily be searched through the Amazon Wedding site by using one of the last names on the registry. After the event date, Prime members will receive a 20% off coupon for items across Amazon; non-Prime members receive 10% off.

 

Amazon Baby Registry

Amazon baby registries can be created by any Amazon customer. Anything for sale on Amazon’s website can be added to the list and they also have universal registry capabilities, which means anything from the internet can be added to it. Registries are easily shared with friends and family by email and Amazon also provides a “thank you” list feature, which tracks who has purchased what. When there are 60 days until the event date, the customer will receive a completion discount on remaining items on the registry, which is 15% for Prime members and 10% for non-Prime members.

Kindle books can be read on any computer, tablet, or mobile phone device that is compatible with Kindle reading apps.
